Abhishek Kumar Soni is the second MMA fighter from Bihar who has been selected in MFN (Matrix Fight Night).
Before this, Mr. Shyamanand has been the first MMA fighter of Bihar coming from Sasaram district of Bihar, who has continuously brought glory to his district, state and his country.
It is said that Abhishek Kumar Soni has been taking training from coach Mr. Jitesh Bhanjan and MMA fighter Mr. Shyamanand at the Indian Combat Sports Academy in Bangalore for four consecutive years.
And in these four years, Abhishek has defeated his opponents in many cage fights continuously.
Abhishek Kumar Soni comes from Gopalganj district of Bihar, first of all Abhishek started his martial arts journey from a karate academy located in Gopalganj.
In his initial days, he took karate training and won medals in karate at district level, state level and national level, but due to the rules of Karate being only touch and back and only punch and kick, Abhishek was not happy with his better performance because by then he started liking the full contact sport Wushu. Abhishek could kick and punch his opponent as well as throw them, hence Abhishek got attracted towards this sport and started training under the supervision of master Konch Sonu at the Wushu Academy located in Gopalganj.
During this time, Abhishek gave a trial for the Sports Authority of India (SAI) in which he got selected. Now Abhishek started training at the Sports Authority of India in Patna. There, after learning all the best tricks of Wushu, he came to know about MMA through his senior Shyamanand and Abhishek He got attracted towards this sport and then left everything and came to the Indian Combat Sports Academy in Bangalore and started preparing for his professional fight.
Played many cage fights continuously, sometimes lost and sometimes won, but this Bihari native boy forgot everything and focused on his training and today has become the second MMA professional fighter of Bihar.
